In recognition of his contributions to the Canadian music industry as a broadcaster and executive, and for his steadfast promotion of Canadian talent, Duff Roman, a senior member of e-Radio’s management team has been appointed a Member of the Order of Canada.

Created in 1967, the Order of Canada is one of Canada’s highest civilian honours and recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation. Its Companions, Officers and Members take to heart the motto of the Order: DESIDERANTES MELIOREM PATRIAM ("They desire a better country"). Appointments are made by the governor general on the recommendation of the Advisory Council for the Order of Canada.
